Meet our Terrific Tax Partner
Maria joined Simpson Wreford LLP in 2005, bringing with her a wealth of experience having been in practice since 2002. She embarked on her professional journey by obtaining her ATT qualification and subsequently achieving the prestigious status of Chartered Tax Advisor in 2010. Maria’s passion for the intricacies of trusts and estates taxation led her to pursue additional qualifications, including membership with the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).
As a Partner at our firm, Maria heads our Tax Department. Her extensive knowledge spans all facets of taxation, with a particular focus on personal tax, family inheritance, and succession planning. Maria’s expertise enables us to provide comprehensive services, including Will drafting and Probate assistance. She recognises the profound impact that the Probate and estate administration process can have on individuals and families during times of grief and vulnerability.
Personal Interests
When Maria isn’t on the netball court, she enjoys quality time with her family or immersing herself in a good book, preferably while basking in the sun abroad by the pool.
