We are looking for a Trainee Tax Assistant
An exciting opportunity for an aspiring Tax Professional to join our Tax Team. Predominantly working on personal tax, dealing with compliance on a portfolio of clients ranging from sub-contractors, Directors and high-net worth individuals, you will also have the opportunity to work on corporate and trust taxation.
The job is full-time, 9 till 5, Monday to Friday. An ATT support package will be available with study costs paid and time off for courses and exams. Our training is provided by one of the top professional Tax training organisations.

Simpson Wreford LLP is a long-standing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based on the historic, well-connected Royal Arsenal Riverside. We are a friendly firm of medium size with seven partners and over 30 staff. Our clients range from sole traders to public multi-national companies with turnover over £45 million.
Entry Requirements
We would like you to have a minimum of 7 GCSEs at grades 9 to 6 (including at least a grade 6 in Maths and English Language) or equivalent, at least 100 UCAS Points (predicted) or equivalent and good computer skills.

Our trainees are our future (all our Partners have started as trainees), so we need people who are keen to develop their communication skills whilst mastering both the technical and professional aspects of our work.

Development
Your progress will be monitored by your manager and training partner who will be on hand to assist you with any problems. Your starting salary will be £20,000 and will be kept competitive; you will be reviewed twice a year when your overall progress is assessed.
